Business Spotlight: Tree of Tranquility
Small businesses and the people who own and work in them are the heart of our Edmonds community. To keep our downtown thriving, it’s more critical than ever that we think local first.
In this new series, we will be highlighting independently-owned businesses, and learn more about the folks that make them run!
Meet Amy Parker from Tree of Tranquility.
What is your favorite part of your business?
Helping people suffering from pain or stress has been such a rewarding and uplifting experience for me.
Why did you choose Edmonds for your business?
I live in Edmonds! I wanted to be close to home and also wanted to be part of the community more since we love it here.
What is unique about your business?
I provide a massage where you are guaranteed to feel better leaving my studio than you did coming in. I like to use tools that help me provide a more effective massage which in turn helps me and my own body mechanics as well. Our session is completely tailored to your needs; if you need upper back and neck focus from working at a desk all day, then that’s what we are working on. Have sciatica? We are focusing on hips and hip flexors! SAHM? You’re getting a full body luxurious massage because you deserve it. After our session, I provide you with the knowledge on what you can do at home to help you with any pain or discomfort until your next session with me. Now, I’m not saying one massage is going to fix everything—I actually recommend you keep up with massage maintenance, whether that be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
Why should people do business with you?
Because I am a personable and humble mother who has found her calling in Massage Therapy. I absolutly love my career and want to help those who are looking for a holistic approach to pain management.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I was a part of the Seattle Drill Team Association for 12 years! On the La Senoritas Drill Team.
What are your hours of business?
